I say NO! Stand and be counted, let the world know how you feel, scream you have had enough and take back your first ammendment rights. 

My list of things i am sick of :

1. Sick of every Tom, Dick and Harry bashing Oboma , he is just one man with the worst job in thr world . He is a good man but over 500 congressmen and senaters with thier own ajendas. so cut the man a break.

2. 2012 dooms day horror the Mayan calendar is just going to start over and repeats its self dah.

3. The goverment saying how they are crackimg down on the corporate greed and it being a white wash.

4. Everyone to open their eyes and see that we keep comsuming at the rate we are , the world econemy going done the drain, and we have to stop thr train before it goes to hell.

5. We must take the example of the rest of the world and learn to livr wirh less. 

Were do we go from here?

Well its been some time and I am sorry a lot has happened in my world . So where do we go from here ? Now that the 1% is closer to total control over the rest of us. OUR government has failed us in so many ways it has made us the joke of the world . It is what it is big corporation tells our government what it wants and its done. there is no humanity left and the world has used up all our resources for profit . When it’s all gone and 3/5th of the world’s population starve to death who will say “If we had not let are government get out of the people’s hand maybe this would not have happened ” . We must support Occupy  Wall St. and any other group that stands up for people not politics.

My World

I am a disabled ex heavy construction worker. I live in southern Missouri, a Veit Nam vet and a social democrat. I have a degree in environmental science, I have a few acres on the lake with a modest home and four cabins that i rent out to people who have hit hard times and need place to live that does not cost them an arm and a leg. I am trying to reduce my energy needs by putting in solar panels , a wind turbine and wood fired hot water heaters all build myself. We raise chickens ,have a garden and try to recycle stuff other people discard.We try to make a difference in our community. But when you are in that gray area where you make just enough not to qualify for any programs to help with put in your own power supply and to poor to buy it all at once so it will take us a long time to ever reach total energy freedom , but I march on in hopes that some day others will do the same and we all will be free of oil. For our children’s sake.

What to do this weeken?

There are football games , baseball, a movie maybe no Lets go to church! They have mega sized TV’s, surround sound, laser light shows comfy seats and a stag show better than cirque du solea. Man what a show and it only cost 10% of my household income. What the f@#k ?If Jesus would shit himself if he came back to see good old American Christian capitalism. When did church become entertainment? when I was a kid church was to worship what ever god of your choice. But today between TV evangelist and mega churches with satellite feed to their satellite churches to be displayed on their 400″ TV’s . Are people so easily duped that they flock to these places in the belief in god or for the entertainment. You decide.

Were have all the hippies gone?

To a comment to my last post I fully agree with it . In my defence people would not read a lengthy out line on the history of the right and left and how roles in the parties change. Readers want it short and fast not long and slow . Compact to the point so to speak it that kind of world. The time of long contemplation has passed for most.

Remember the days of sit-ins, love-ins,LSD and wanting to change the world . The ones that unite the world through peace and love, those who wanted to go back to living on that which they grew or raised,those that wanted to save the planet and those that wanted to have big brother to stop looking over their shoulder. 

Well lets see those that wanted to unite the world 75% lost hope, those that wanted to live off the land only 10% stuck to the organic way of life the rest gave up or conformed to modern farming then they lost it to corporate farming, those that wanted save the planet 50% that have stuck to it have been ridiculed , called crazy tree huggers , eco terrorist and communist. And those that wanted big brother of our backs have been reformed or put away , you know what I mean. 

As Americans we have went from protesting everything to nothing. Now you have a few what the media calls radicals , right to lifers, white supremest neo-natzi  or Tea Baggers. We have sent a message to our government that we don’t care , give yourself raises , put more restrictions and laws on us, take our freedoms away and shit on us we don’t care. Its time to stand up and say enough is enough . Our votes don’t do it .We need to take it to the street and let them know they work for us , we do not submit to their whims anymore . I starts We The People not we the few.Hippies come back we need you once agin.

Right vs. Left

Its time to draw the lines . Here in America we have a two-party system of politics. There is some that wood argue that fact but and there are small political partes but they rarely get past state or local levels.When it get down to it you are on the right or on the left .

Now lets break it down , if you are on the right you are a conservative one who believes everything you here are submissive to tyrants and fallow a futillist way of life. the right wants to control all thinking , want have a separation of classes of people and control the flow of commerce . And their so-called leaders keep them in check with fear, be it through religion , constant reminder of things that enrage us and make us feel unsafe in our own homes. like going to hell, cold war, terrorists, bad economy.

Now lets look at the right. They are free thinkers , hippies , eco nuts, liberals, socialist, humanist , and the un-American. They question government, they beleave in what if, social justice and talerance of all. There so called leaders half ass control them by joining them together under one cause, to buck the right.

If u look back through American history those that made a large difference our way of life for the better was a liberal, a free-thinker and a left winger. For example every one in the continental congress, Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, R.F.D., Truman, J.F.K.and Martin Luther King just to name few that most people know. The right fought to not go to war with the king of England. they fought for slavery , to stop civil rights , japanese internment, the MacArthur era and trying to stop anything to do with renewable energy.

Free thinkers move us forward and conservatives keep us for going to fast.So lets keep it in balance.

Health Care Who’s Got IT

Well we know corporate executives have it. Federal and state congressmen and legislators’, president and governors have it. Now what about the rest of Americans? We know the homeless don’t have it. Most people on minimum wage either only get to work 32 hours or less so they don’t have health benefits or they work over 32 hours but have to choose health insurance or food and rent. Even workers that make above minimum wage still has to weigh the cost of health insurance and care for there family’s basic needs. In my 40 years of work I have seen it go from an employer paying for my health insurance and half of my family’s to paying one-third of my health insurance and none of my family. The premiums jump 20% to 30% a year and i was lucky th get a 3% cost of living raise. It has no end , but if you talk about universal health care the right wingers scream socialism, but we have socialized medicine , medicare, federal and state employee health care, military health care it’s all paid by our taxes . Do you think your congressman would be willing to pay for his health care I think not. They also would not want to put caps on insurance premiums and piss off the insurance company’s lobbiest . Nixon let that fox out of the box in the early 70′s. So now hospitals and insurance companies run wild and no one will stop them. We care more for our political agenda than we do about our Peoples health and wellbeing. We are one of the wealthest contries in the world and we cannot cover our people health care cost.
